Research on the Santa Cruz Island

With funding from the Society for the Protection of Underground Networks (SPUN), we are invesigating the potential role of microplastic dispersal on bacteria-fungi-plant interactions. Our work has centered on oak and pine systems on the Santa Cruz Island, but we are also interested in conducting molecular surveys on applicable surrounding islands. We are fortunate to be collaborating with researchers at Stanford, American University, and the University College of London to reach our project goals.
