Mushrooms are the fruiting bodies of the dominant fungi that our work centers on in the lab. Going out into the woods to forage for mushrooms is just as poetic as it is scientific. This is one of the lab's favorite activities. It is a wonderful way to learn, explore, and enjoy the fruits of the forest. Keep a look out for local gathers and mushroom-happenings.
